Alvi Mayorista, a subsidiary of SMU, celebrated the inauguration of a new store in Peñaflor, marking its first location in the area and the 21st in the Metropolitan Region.

The new store is located at Avenida Balmaceda 503, Peñaflor, and spans 2,050 square meters, offering customers eight checkout counters. The store employs a team of 39 people, 89% of whom are residents of the commune.

“Our partners, small business owners, and shopkeepers in Peñaflor can continue to rely on us. We want to be closer to you, which is why we’re opening this store today to make life easier for families in the community and our valued partners. We aim to provide a better shopping experience and greater convenience, with a wide selection of the highest-quality products,” said Francisco Gaete, General Manager of the Alvi format.

With this opening, Alvi has inaugurated its second store of 2024, following the joint opening with Unimarc in Los Andes. This milestone reinforces Alvi's commitment to continued growth and expansion across Chile, striving to reach new regions and communities and become the preferred choice for shopkeepers.
